A) Medical Assistance
Chubb Assistance will arrange for the provision of medical assistance for Malindo Air Passengers over the telephone.
B) Medical Service Provider Referral
Chubb Assistance shall provide to Malindo Air passengers, upon request, the name, address, telephone number and, if available, office hours of physicians, hospitals, clinics, dentists, and dental clinics.
C) Arrangement of Appointments with Local Doctors for Treatment
Chubb Assistance will assist Malindo Air Passengers by arranging appointments upon requests, with general practitioners or specialized doctors.
D) Arrangement of Emergency Medical Evacuation
Chubb Assistance will arrange for the provision of air and/or surface transportation, medical care during transportation, communications and all usual ancillary services required to move the passenger following an accident or sickness to the nearest hospital or to the usual place of residence in Malaysia where appropriate medical care is available for Malindo Air Travel Insurance Round Trip Plans. Chubb Assistance will arrange or the provision of appropriate communication and linguistic capabilities, mobile medical equipment and medical escort crew.
E) Arrangement of Transportation of Mortal Remains
Chubb Assistance will arrange for the transportation of the passenger’s mortal remains to the usual place of residence in Malaysia nominated by the customer’s legal representatives or arrange, as requested by the customer’s family, for local burial at the place of accidental death. For Malindo Air Travel Insurance, International Round Trip Plan, cover is also extended to include Emergency Medical Evacuation & Repatriation due to sickness.
F) Return of Minor Children
Chubb Assistance will arrange for one (1) return airfare and hotel accommodation for a relative to accompany the Malindo Air Passenger’s children back to the place where the return journey commenced in Malaysia.
G) Arrangement of Compassionate Visit
Chubb Assistance will arrange for one (1) return airfare and hotel accommodation for a relative or a friend to visit and stay with the Malindo Air Passengers during his/her hospital confinement on the recommendation of a medical practitioner, if the Malindo Air Passenger has been hospitalized for more than 5 consecutive days.

A) Inoculation and Visa Requirement Information
Chubb Assistance shall provide information concerning visa and inoculation requirements for foreign countries, as those requirements are specified from time to time in the most current edition of World Health Organization Publication “Vaccination Certificates Requirements and Health Advice for International Travel” (for inoculations) and the “ABC Guide to International Travel Information” (for visas). This information will be provided at any time, whether or not you are travelling or an emergency has occurred.
B) Interpreter Referral
Chubb Assistance will provide the names, telephone numbers and, if possible and requested, hours of opening of interpreters’ office in foreign countries.
C) Lost Luggage Assistance
Chubb Assistance will assist you if your luggage is lost by referring you to the appropriate authorities involved.
D) Lost Passport Assistance
Chubb Assistance will assist you if you lose your passport while travelling by referring you to the appropriate authorities involved.
E) Embassy Referral
Chubb Assistance shall provide the address, telephone number and hours of opening of the nearest appropriate consulate and embassy worldwide.
F) Weather and Foreign Exchange Information Services
Chubb Assistance shall provide information to you regarding the exchange rate of major foreign currencies and weather forecasts and temperatures of foreign countries.
G) Emergency Message Transmission Assistance
In the event of an emergency or a hospital confinement, Chubb Assistance will undertake to keep the customer’s immediate family members informed, upon the customer’s or their travelling companion’s request and consent to do so.
H) Legal Referral
Chubb Assistance will provide you with the name, address, telephone numbers, and if available, office hours for referred lawyers and legal practitioners. Chubb Assistance will not give any legal advice to you.
